What started as a gardening paradise store for aficionados has since grown and blossomed into a unique hub for gracious living in Bloor West Village.

Our indoor showroom features upholstered furniture pieces that you can either take home right away or have custom-ordered to suit whatever fabric or tailored design you desire. There's also artwork, glassware, tableware, carpets and a myriad of accents to transform your living space into a work of art.

 

We have a passion for providing exceptional, personalized service to discerning customers who come looking for selection, uniqueness and intrigue. It's a unique place where the staff provides each customer with dignity and products to make their lives and homes beautiful.

 

History

 

Established in 2001 on Annette Street, Windergarden recently closed our original home and opened a new larger space in the heart of Bloor West Village.

 

When the last of owner Rose Marie's children went off to University, it was time for her to fulfill lifelong dream of opening a home decor store.  Windergarden started as a small boutique with a specific focus on outdoor living.

 

Over the years the store has grown indoors and out with new spaces allowing for more opportunities to help customers with all their design needs.  Today walking through our over 4600 square foot location (Including a 2800 square foot outdoor showroom), you can find all you need to beautify your home indoors and out.

 

Additionally, our design experts can help you develop a décor plan to maximize and beautify your space, or to stage your home for real estate showings. They can also manage your corporate gifting by choosing individualized gifts for your staff and business contacts.

 Rose Marie H.

 

Rose Marie had a vision of a business that would help grow an area she holds dear while also providing an oasis in the city for customers to frequent.  Her keen and discerning eye is always at work be it finding new and unique products to showcase in Windergarden at any of the dozen trade shows she attends across North America, or helping a customer find the right items for their home.

 

Rose Marie has appeared on City Line, Breakfast Television, Daytime Toronto as well as at many seminars throughout the city to give people ideas as to how they can decorate their living spaces permanently or just for a season.

 

Rose Marie prides herself on always making time for customers, many of whom have become dear friends through the years.
